Great product!
I love the EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46 Face Sunscreen! I use it all the time! It was recommended by my dermatologist because I have extremally sensitive skin and also rosacea! This is one of the few creams with SPF that I can use. It feels very smooth and not heavy like most SPF creams! I use this one and the one with tint as well – Love both! My daughters (11 and 13yr old also love it for their face) and I do not have to chase them to put it on! They actually ask for it! I can’t recommend this product enough!

This is your FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE.I swear to it to prevent skin damage. Non greasy, no white streaks. Put on retin A first, then this sun screen and then your foundation. I use powder. Its great at keeping that smooth skin texture. You will never regret using. Nice pump bottle for NO CONTAMINATION. Just the right amount dispensed and any extra-put on your hands and forearms.

Dark Skin Perspective
I was using the another sunscreen but switched to a mineral sunscreen as advised by my dermatologist. It is a good product but it does leave a slight cast on my deep complexion. It’s not something that lingers but dissolves in a small amount of time. It blends well under makeup. I would’ve given this five stars BUT for the cast. In terms of protection for AA skin type, I think this mineral screen is one of the better ones out there. I toggle between this and Super Goop based on pricing/better deal.

The best sunscreen!
I have bought many sunscreens for my face in the past and hate that white residue it leaves behind. This one is excellent my face looks healthy, moisturized, no sensitivity to the ingredients, and feels protected from the sun overall. So far I love it, I will have to stay in the sun longer to see if it really Works.

No scent, no white tint, high quality
I was glad this brand was among the variety of samples the dermatologist gave me. I cannot use products with scents. This had none. It spreads easily on my face and does not leave any white tint. After nearly a year of use, I have never had my skin burn or even turn pink. At first I thought the price was high for a small container, but this goes a long way. This is a high quality product.

Great product bad proce
I have used this product for yours and love it! I have Melasma and this sunscreen has helped to prevent it getting worse. I do not get breakouts or think that it smells funny. The price on Amazon has gotten too high and I have found another retainer to. It fron. The shipping will be longer but it is still half of the price on Amazon.

I’ve heard so many great things about this particular sunscreen and I see why. It’s light, spreads well and doesn’t leave a white cast. Although the bottle is small for the price, in my opinion it is completely worth it. I love this sunscreen.

This is by far the best facial sunscreen we have ever used. It’s very lightweight, spreads and absorbs nicely. Doesn’t leave greasy residue and kids don’t seem to mind it. There a faint smell to it but it quickly fades. There are no added fragrances which is very important. 100% recommend it and our dermatologist approved!

Although the price is pretty steep for something that I constantly use and reapply. I don’t mind because it is the only sunscreen that doesn’t break out my sensitive skin and doesn’t leave a white cast. The consistency is good and doesn’t pill with my other products.

Best sun block I’ve found.
I’ve been looking for a sun block for my face that’s not greasy or runs into my eyes. This stuff is great. It goes on really well and rubs in without any greasy shine. I don’t know how it works with makeup because I don’t wear any bit I imagine it would work well with it. So far I’m loving it

Doesnt go well with tretinoin
I apply my tretinoin at night. The next day Ill use the sunscreen before leaving the house and it makes me skin dryer and peel instantly after applying to my skin… not sure why but this isnt the first spf moisturizer to do it to me. Otherwise this would be a good product but probably not worth me spending that much when I can get equal quality for half the price

Maybe it’s not for me?
It was easy to spread however I noticed with my acne care products it began pilling- or coming right off my skin in the form of little balls of hardened product. As a person who doesn’t like to waste product and not wear makeup this was disappointing. With my hormonal acne, maybe it’s not for me.

Working fine for my acne prone skin
Have been using it for a week now, it pills slightly depending on long you wait to put on the sunscreen after you’ve put a moisturizer on. But overall besides that it’s doing fine on my acne prone and textured areas where I still have white and black bumps.I’ve tried other brands, la roche posay both mineral and not mineral, I’ve tried a hylaronic acid sunscreen. All of which either left me too oily at the end of the day, red because my face is red and inflamed where I the acne. Or just started rubbing off on the textured skin where the acne bumps were.So far this has yet to do any of that, but it has only been a week.

This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used and reduces my redness while making my skin look super smooth and semi-matte. It’s not a moisturizer but it provides a nice barrier to keep your moisturizing products underneath and it will never break you out.However, EltaMD keeps raising its price more and more ever year and I’m trying to find other brands that are cheaper. They don’t even discount on Black Friday or Cyber Monday either.

Best non-chemical sunscreen I’ve used!
I’m an avid sunscreen user and have been dedicated to non-chemical sunscreens the last few years through pregnancy and breastfeeding phases of life. I also suffer from hormonal acne and am always hunting for great oil-free products. I use azelaic acid foam daily to combat the acne and melasma so sunscreen is a must. My aesthetician has been impressed with the lightening of my melasma and acne inflammation and I truly owe it to the azelaic acid + Elta sunscreen duo. Best daily facial sunscreen I’ve used. Super moisturizing but also super lightweight. The texture makes it easy to spread. It’s a really great final step in my skincare routine before applying makeup.

Nice product
Probably the best sunscreen moisturizer I’ve ever tried. I’ve had problem skin most of my life, and as I’ve aged I have developed dry sensitive red patches patches on my normally oily skin. Ive always had acne, never grew out of it. Its a bit of a hot mess, but this lotion really balances, and i dont have to use any oil control cream along with it, and it moisturizes.pretty well. It absorbs well, and my skin is less red. There is no magic bullet, but I’m pleased with how this works. I will now be purchasing the moisture barrier and serum for night treatment. Wish I had found this 10 years ago.

I decided to try this brand for sun protection because it was recommended by my dermatologist’s office.The product does not leave my white cast on my face like other sunscreens. It does not leave the skin feeling tacky. The fragrance is ok.My only wish for this product is I wish the SPF was higher and the price point was a little lower.

Everyone knows that sunscreen is a step you absolutely CANNOT miss in your morning skincare routine, especially if you have acne-prone or sensitive skin. Therefore, it is crucial to find the right sunscreen for your skin type that won’t clog your pores and make you breakout even more. I personally immediately purchased this product when I first started using sunscreen, despite the price tag, simply because I have heard enough sunscreen horror stories that scared me straight. In no way, shape, or form did I want to risk worsening my skin’s condition while trying to protect it. I’ve heard many reviews from many influencers on this product and they’re all 100% right. This is THE BEST sunscreen for acne-prone skin. Not only does it not make you break out like many other sunscreens do, it also moisturizes, and TREATS your breakouts. I have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin’s texture, elasticity, and appearance. Some of my acne scars even disappeared after using this product. It is a GEM and I absolutely refuse to try/switch to anything else. If they discontinue this, I will buy out all of them in advance. So if you see it out of stock, know it was me lol.

Favorite sunscreen for the whole year
I really love this sunscreen for my face and neck. Actually I also use it for my arms and shoulders sometimes thought it’s very expensive and don’t want to waste it. But I love how it feels so light like regular lotion and doesn’t leave a white overcast like other sunscreens. One of my children also likes the EltaMD facial suncreen better than the typical “kid” sunscreens. Highly recommend.

Perfect for Face Protection
I have tried several sunscreens for the face that contain zinc. Most are extremely heavy or thick and have serious white cast on them. My skin does not do so well with mineral based make up or products. When I sweat it usually makes my skin sting. This was recommended to me after getting a laser treatment since not only does the sun trigger melasma, so does the computer screen. This is by far the best SPF that I have found to wear on my face under my make up.

I tried a lot of sunscreen brands since I have skin condition, this is the best!
My dermatologist recommended this one since I have acne and other skin conditions. No stickiness, no white layer, light normal sunscreen smell, light on skin, great moisture so no need to use moisturizer, doesn’t cause acne. It’s just perfect! I totally recommend it and hope that it stays like this, since many brands get changed after good reviews unfortunately.

HG Sunscreen, doesn’t turn skin gray
I’ve tried a million sunscreens and I’m allergic to avobenzone so I usually buy mineral based ones that turn my skin gray or purple. So nice to find this one. No breakouts, no dryness. Have gone through 2 bottles this summer. I don’t reapply during the day but I do use Colorscience spf powder over.

Acne, Scarring, and PIE
I have very sensitive, combination-oily, acne prone skin, as well as post inflammatory erythema. I have always been afraid to add sunscreen into my morning routine, as most sun protection products I’ve tried have broken me out or caused my skin to burn. This did not break me out at all, and somehow, my scars look lighter by nighttime! My only complaint is that it does take a minute to absorb into the skin, as I definitely find myself rubbing it in for awhile, and my face remains pretty oily looking for a bit too. I would recommend patting it in until your skin absorbs it after you’ve rubbed it in.

Well worth the price if you have sensitive, acne prone skin
This is my second time purchasing this product and it has not disappointed. I have dry, acne prone skin and have reactions to chemical sunscreens. I usually apply a thin layer of Differin Restorative Night Moisturizer before applying this, since this product isn’t very moisturizing and can pill if you have dry skin. This product does not break me out. I was previously using Cerave Facial Moisturizing lotion with SPF 30, and that product tends to pill a lot. This product goes on more smoothly and looks way better on the skin than Cerave. It is very pricey but for me, it is worth it. Be aware that if you use a mask after applying this product it will probably pill a bit, but the pilling is manageable and I am able to brush it away.

My new holy grail sunscreen
I have very dry, sensitive skin, so I usually stick to mineral sunscreens. Unfortunately I’m also latinx with olive skin, so mineral sunscreens make me pasty and ghoulish. This sunscreen is the best I have EVER used. Yes, it’s a mineral and chemical mix, but I’ve had zero irritation, redness, or itchiness. It spreads and sinks in beautifully without leaving a horrible white cast or drying out my face. Not only that, but it’s hydrating. It leaves my face soft and dewy. I’ve tried dozens and dozens of different mineral and chemical sunscreens alike, but this one outshines them all. I never write reviews, but I was so impressed that I felt like I had to. I’ll be recommending this sunscreen to everyone in my life.

One of the best
I have a very sensitive facial skin that’s easily prone to eczema and pain if I use the wrong sunscreen. I’ve been on a long journey looking for the right sunscreen that (i) does not hurt my skin, (ii) does not cause breakouts, (iii) does not result in white cast when I reapply, and (iv) is not too oily. And after trying about 8 other sunscreen brands, I’ve decided to stick with this one. I’ve been using it for about a month and it’s not very harsh on my skin, nor does it cause white cast when I reapply it (at least on the second time. Haven’t tried reapplying more than that). It’s not too oily so doesn’t feel disgusting and I haven’t experienced any breakouts yet. It’s a little bit more expensive than other typical sunscreens you find online, but I’d say it’s worth it!
