Love these bones!
These bones are awesome! I have one in every room. My dog is very picky and hasn’t cared about any other bone I have tried. He will sit and chew on it for awhile. They last for months and he’s a very aggressive chewer.

Great chew toy
My dog is Collie Mix, just turned 3. We have bought this bone about every 6 months. It’s one of the only toys he hasn’t destroyed by chewing. He does wear down the edges and that’s when we replace it with a new one.
JMac –
Great chew toy that lasts quite a while.
Got a heavy chewer. This a great choice that lasts a while and stays together.
Barb Dueholm –
My furry friend loves her chew time!
My lab loves this chew toy. She chews on it every day and plays fetch with it. It is a long lasting toy thank goodness. I have already purchased another one for future chew sessions!Thank you for providing such durable toys for our more aggressive chewers.
GaiterGal –
The BEST!!!
I have one in every room our dog hangs out in. He loves it! I have given as gifts to our grand dogs and they love them too. No danger of little chunks coming off like other bones and toys. Our dog is very aggressive chewer and these are durable! Love the y shape. He puts his paws on the V part and chews on the end. Love it!
Jeremy –
My dogs love this.
Had to buy another since both dogs preferred it. It is lasting very well with my very aggressive chewer. The pup isn’t quite as aggressive with it, but loves it too. I think it feels a little rough and splintery, but the dogs like it.
Cole Zabowski –
She likes it
My Pit really enjoys this chew toy because she can hold it and chew as opposed to a straight toy. Also the material has some give but does not fall apart.
Steve Kone –
Dog magnet
I purchased this and a few other things for my Labradoodles for Christmas, and this item is clearly their favorite. The shape lends itself to being easily held by the dogs while gnawing on it, and while it looks like plastic, it must have a great scent and taste to it.
Rose Dos –
My pit bull still is using it after a month
Very durable. Can handle tough chewing although be careful if it gets too sharp as it may cut their gums. My dog literally eats trash so she’ll be okay but it’s important to keep an eye on it and cut off any ouchy parts. So durable! I’d say she still has another month left of chewing at this rate 🙂

Best Dog Treat
A dog treat that will last not only days or weeks, but months! Well worth it – my dogs love them!

Dog LOVES it
I got this for my Yorkipoo puppy three weeks ago, and he has loved it! He often sits down and chews it for 30 minutes or more at a time. He has not broken off any pieces of it and there are scratches on the tips where he chews. Seems like this will last for many many months. Very worth the price!

This one is the favorite
We have a tough chewer (Malamute mix) and this is her favorite bone. She brings it everywhere. She has chewed off a portion of the ends but considering how much she chews it, not unexpected.
Nick –
Longest lasting chew we’ve had.
This chew toy has outlasted all the others we’ve tried. The dogs really love this one. Great shape. We have two small dogs and they can both chew at the same time. Even though we bought two. Gotta share!!
stacy evans –
Love it.
My dog loves this thing. It’s tough and doesn’t splinter.
Jean –
Amazing chew bone!
My year old Maltipoo puppy has such a great time chewing it. He even bats it around the living room before he goes crazy gnawing on it. It’s pretty hard, and it takes a bit of time to begin making actual “chew marks”. Yet he really enjoys it!
Trox –
Well worth the money!
Spent hundreds of dollars trying to find something that would last and something my 2 Pitties would not destroy in and hour and also something they would continue to use. Search is over..

My Dogs Love Them
My dogs are fans of this chew bone. They last long, but I feel like there are some other bones made with better ingredients.
Coach P –
Buy the bigger size for puppies
It has been a month and it is long-lasting because I bought the big size and kept it in my puppy crate as a chewing mechanism.
Carey G. Kennedy –
Good buy
My 12 week old puppies like this chew toy and it’s easier for them to get it in their mouth than a regular shaped bone.

Love Benebones!
I have two Siberian huskies so having chewing toys/bones are essential. We have bought several Benebones over the years, I had looked up that the bacon flavored had a tendency for being the favorite flavor for dogs so I ordered them that flavor and they LOVE them! They never get bored with them and they seem to enjoy this flavor more then the others. I highly recommend Benebones for a long lasting, great flavor bone for your dogs!

My dogs like it, but don’t love it
My dogs are picky with toys they can’t completely destroy in 5 min, so just keep that in mind for this review. They seem to like this toy and will chew on it if they’re very bored, but they don’t love it. They don’t go after it like they would a stuffed animal, and its definitely no replacement for a rawhide bone or something they can actually tear up and eat in an hour or so. It does, however, offer them something to chew when I can’t give them attention and won’t give them another treat/bone. I find it works best if I only give this to them for a few hours, then put it away and trade it for a different flavored toy. It does last through some serious chewing though, I’ll give it that, and it doesn’t seem to develop chips or super sharp points after being chewed so I’m not too worried about my dogs’ gums. They also don’t seem to be able to break it, which is nice.Over all, I think this would be great for dogs that really like this kind of toy. It works well for my 1.5 year old bull mastiff/heeler when she feels like chewing it. My old german shepherd seems more interested in guarding it than chewing it, but she doesn’t have all her teeth anymore, so I’m not too surprised. Wouldn’t say its the best thing ever for us personally, but it works better than other flavored toys I’ve tried.

Great Design, But One End Broke Off Almost Immediately
***EDIT 3: I have upgraded this to four stars. I received two replacement JUMBO bones after the one I purchased broke off almost instantly. I think that product had a defect in it, which is a little dangerous because it broke into a piece that could be swallowed. HOWEVER, the two replacement bones have been excellent. One got chewed up first, and it did slowly whittle away, but it did not break into any dangerous pieces and it did not get sharp. My puppy loved it! The second bone she has had a little more trouble chewing away, and it still gets her attention after months of hard chewing. Which makes me think that the bones have different hardness levels in the batches they are made, but that is just speculation. Regardless, the bone is great and does does not break into little pieces which could be choking hazards, and it does not get sharp.Great product, a little inconsistent in batches maybe, but it will get your dog’s attention, provide hours of chewing, and the scent does not get on the carpet like other chew toys or bones. Good purchase!***Edit 1: Benebone contacted me almost immediately and offered a replacement of the larger size. Their customer service representative has been friendly and I forwarded my contact information through their website for the replacement. I will update when I receive the new product and my experience.******Edit 2: When I contacted Benebone’s customer service to provide my address, they immediately responded in approximately an hour. In fact, they already sent and I received not one replacement, but TWO replacement bones and a nice handwritten note. I have attached a photo below proving it. The replacements were the LARGER, upgraded sizes too! I have upgraded this review to 3 Stars premised on the sincere and strong customer service they have shown me. THIS COMPANY STANDS BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. For that, I think it is just to upgrade my 2 star review to 3 stars. I still stand by what I had said below regarding the smaller size, but so far my puppy LOVES the JUMBO Benebone and I will surely review the JUMBO in two weeks to see how it holds up. So far, the JUMBO is 5 STARS for sure; it has held up much better than the other chew toy, despite my puppy’s intense chewing on this bone (it smells much stronger than the little bone and the flavor must be super intense for her). Despite this intense chewing, the bone has taken very little damage from her–it is holding up much better.ADVICE: Do not go by the weight recommendations and size. If your puppy/dog prefers to chew on hard bones, just get the largest size for 100 lb dogs. If your puppy chews on hard bones once in awhile but not really, then you can go for the size for 70 lb dogs. I still think the 70 lb Benebone I got had a defect which resulted in one branch completely falling off immediately–the other two branches are solid despite heavy chewing–but this new JUMBO bone is amazing!***Original Review*** – 2 StarsI purchased this for my 45 lb, 8 month old pit bull/shepherd mix. It is a good idea and design, but one whole end was destroyed in no time. Perhaps I got a defective one with an air bubble or crack, as you can see from the photo below that one end completely broke off/wore down but the other two ends are barely damaged despite my puppy’s chewing.Regardless, I feel a little mislead that it was rated for dogs up to 70 lbs and, while the packaging warns you that this is just an estimate, one who anticipate that it would last longer than a week for a puppy 25 lbs lighter than the estimate. Nylabones and elk antlers lasted much longer than this did and my puppy seriously chews on the elk antlers quite intensely. As way of some background, my puppy has a lot of chew toys ranging from bones, rawhide, ropes, stuffed animals, nylabones, and rubber balls. She certainly spent a lot of attention on this toy the last week, but it wasn’t exclusive and her chewing was shared with some of her other staples.I like that this toy has bacon mixed in with it. If you smell the toy, particularly where your dog has been chewing, you can kind of smell a meaty aroma. It does not get on the rug or rub off, and it is a faint smell, but on the chewed parts you can smell something. It is not noticeable when you are sitting next to your dog/puppy and the toy, or near the toy; it is only when you pick up the toy and put it right to your nose. I can only imagine what this smells like to dogs with their super sense of smell!I also can’t argue with the design/shape of the toy–it’s perfect! The curve of the toy is great, as she can scoop it up or put pressure on one end to elevate the opposite end to chew on it.But I just can’t get over how quickly that one end came off. I got it about two weeks ago and I gave it to her last week (I slowly introduce new toys to keep her occupied and her mind stimulated). Compared to other chew toys–including nylabone and elk antlers–this toy wore down much quicker. In fact, the nylabone she has had for much longer, the puppy nylabones nonetheless, have outlasted this toy and the nylabone has been around since we first took her home at 2 months. She has also had an elk antler which has also lasted much longer and she REALLY goes after that one.I have attached a photo below of my puppy and the damage to the bone. For the cost, which is about the same as a nylabone, I would have wished it lasted much longer than it did–which is why I got it in the first place as opposed to another nylabone. I would be happy if it lasted a few months, which is what I would guess to be its normal lifespan.I would not classify my puppy as a big chewer either. She certainly chews and can do damage to hard bones or chew toys, but she is by no means a destroyer–she does not even shred her stuffed animals and has executed only a few (some were not even dog chew toys but children’s toys she was given to play with). This is the first hard toy she has destroyed where I had to take it away.CONCLUSION: Perhaps I got a Benebone that had a defect, or my puppy really just destroyed this one in a mere week, but I simply cannot recommend this version of the Benebone I got. I might try to get the jumbo Benebone or one rated higher for bigger dogs up to 100 lbs if they go on sale, but I don’t think that my 8 month old puppy should warrant a toy for dogs up to 100 lbs when she has not destroyed any of her other toys like this one. It even takes her longer to go through some of the large rawhide toys she has!

Plastic made to taste good to dogs
Dog loved these, really went to town, helped enormously with her chewing issues -thought we’d found the solution. However, I was concerned about their safety once I stepped on one (unpleasant!) and realized how gnarly the plastic bits on them get. Mostly wanted to make sure I wasn’t helping her shred her gums or something, but also made me wonder where all those little sharp bits were going (suspected in her gut). So went to the Benebone website and looked up safety. Once I read about the level of wear you are supposed to toss these at for safety (which comes out to about 1-2 day’s use by our super-chewer) it seems that these are not a great choice cost-wise, and I’m questioning the long term safety of a product that is essentially plastic made to taste good. The site also states: “Keep Benebones free of dog hair and other debris, which can tangle with small pieces of Benebones and create an ingestion hazard. This can even happen with regular wear and even if flakes from the product are the size of a grain of rice or smaller. Hair and other debris can make any toy or chew more dangerous by forming a “nest” of debris.” This was an issue for me, as with two german shepherds in the house, the chew always seemed to have hair on it. Think super-pointy sharp enlarged velcro (hook side) and you get the idea. Glad they had that warning. Curious, I went to their competitor’s site – Nylabone – and they have no such warning that I could find. Seems like their product should too? On reason’s side, I am sure that incidences of dogs getting obstructions from these are very uncommon, and I also realize that most folks ignore the “toss out if excessively worn” with no issues as well. And my crazy dog eats so much crap she shouldn’t (think dropped bread tie tabs, plastic clothing tag holders, gravel bits, bark chips, bits of nylon toys she has shredded before I could get to her… I spend a lot more time than I like to think about with my hand in that alligator mouth fishing around for whatever she’s managed to scavenge before she swallows it but am not always as quick as she is). So I get it – this is probably a low risk item comparatively. But I tend to err on the side of caution, and I really appreciate that Benebone gave me the ability to be an informed consumer. If you are looking at both products, I’d probably choose Benebone over Nylabone for the fact that they seem much more up front and honest about risks associated with their products, and they take steps to make sure you can give your pet both what it needs and keep it safe. I think that these types of chews are a valuable choice as they probably keep a lot of power-chewers from going to the pound (destructive chewing is one of the big drivers of dog relinquishment according to Nylabone’s site and that sounds believable) and are a lot safer than raw hide, etc. I decided to keep looking for other products that were more in my comfort zone, and we’ve settled on a combination of Kong products and yak cheese chews which have been working well. Hope this review is helpful.

Great for real chewers
These are great for dogs that really like to chew and or gnaw on things. My Golden Retriever loves to chew on stuff. Sticks outside or his toys inside. I keep toys like this at all times. He gets so happy when a new one comes. This one is really tough and does last. You will want to keep your eye on it though. How long it last will depend on the type of chewer your dog is. My dog is an 80 lbs Golden Retriever and he could gnaw on toys like this all day long. I do like to pick it up from time to time just to give it a break. This one was the large one I believe. He has had the Medium one also but this one the large should last longer. You really have to try and go by the recommendations as well as what you notice your dogs likes.I will be buying more of these.

Oliver Loves your product that’s made in the USA
Our Goldendoodle, Oliver, loves your product. I love that they are made in the USA and approved by my Veterinarian. I don’t have to worry about my dog swallowing anything, getting a digestive upset or choking. ALL of those are possible when giving your dog rawhide, bones and other products. We had a dog die from eating rawhide and another that got sick eating pigs ears. It is very important to me and my family that we purchase products made and sourced in the USA. Thank you for manufacturing such a safe and healthy product.

After 10 weeks, my dog still cannot get enough
This beautiful bully wandered into my yard over two months ago. Don’t worry I did the right thing trying to find his owner but no one claimed him. Probably dropped off. I bought this two weeks after having him, here we are over 10 weeks later, and he still loves this thing. Sometimes I have to take it away from them so we can go to sleep because he will keep chewing it all night. It is still in good shape. Probably have a couple of months left on it. This guy tears up anything and everything in 5 to 15 minutes but this thing has lasted. Buy it.

The favorite chew toy!
I have two dogs under 2 years old and they are both aggressive chewers. This bone is their FAVORITE! Which makes it my favorite because that means the more they focus on chewing this bone, the more they stay away from the drywall, the furniture and whatever else looks tasty. I just bought two more because they’ve chewed the first two down to nubs and I threw them away – too small and I was concerned they’d choke on them. The shape is perfect. They hold it between their paws and gnaw on the top. Somehow they end up chewing all sides, so it words in all directions. My son’s girlfriend just got a golden retriever puppy and I’m ordering one for her.

Love it!
Our dog loves this Lucy is St. Bernard/Bernese Mountain Dog 17 months old and over a 100 lbs. she can destroy bones in seconds. This chew just lasts and when it does comes apart it is in tiny bits quinoa size pellets. She does not make a dent in it. I do have one complaint, it hurts like hell when you don’t see it and you kick it barefoot. Ouch! I’m not worried about this like I am raw hides.

Absolutely the best
This is the best chew toy ever. My puppy has eaten everything in the house and I could not find anything that would help until I started buying these products. She has not chewed a thing since I bought these products. The wishbone is the best because I has 3 parts she can chew and it lasts for 2 months. It might last longer for some but, for me, about 2 months because she’s ALWAYS chewing it. Saves me a lot of money. I highly recommend this👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Lasts months!
I am SO GLAD I stumbled upon these! We have a husky and a dachshund and they both love to chew on these! Our dachshund was always chewing up my kids toys that were laying around but since we started buying these she hardly does any more! The best part is that these bones last MONTHS at a time and are chewed on several times a day. Don’t hesitate on buying these! They’re a money saver and will be your dogs favorite chew bone!

Best bone ever
These are the best bones every, and I’ve tried them all! These are the only bones I’ve found that the dogs actually like AND that they can’t get pieces off of. They can chew for hours and it just scrapes down the surface, never any pieces coming off like every other bone we’ve ever tried over the years.

Get it!
We have a 1yo+ male lab and he loves chewing. This brand, Benebone is perfect. He started with the “puppy” ones when he was younger, since grown to the bigger size. Mediums work perfect for him and the price seems fair for size medium. He’s a heavy chewer and other “very durable” toys don’t last a day. These bones will last him up to 3mo (this is our 3rd bone) which is decent time considering he spends at least an hour/day aggressively chewing on it. You won’t be disappointed!

A Must Have for the Durable Chewers!
We have two dogs that will spend every minute focused on muscle chewing and tug-o-war any toy, including Kong toys. These chewers make them work, last a good long time, and give them no digestion issues. Only recommendation is to get one size bigger than you think you need to last longer.
Steph Rangel –
Great for a dog with anxiety
We have always had Benebones in the house, and have never had an issue with the dogs chewing on anything they shouldn’t, even when they were pups. The Golden Retriever seems to NEED his Benebone, as that is the first thing he goes for in the morning. The other two dogs chew on them occasionally. If you have a dog that is a chewer or seems to get stressed, get them a Benebone!

My dog’s favorite toy
I have a standard poodle and he loves this when teething and continues to love it so much I had to buy another one. Mostly because I have a grand dog that is a pit bull and he has decided when he is over, he wants to chew on it. Best money I’ve spent on toys for my dog.

My Toy Poodle Loves It!
She is an aggressive chewer. At first thought small was too big for her but she jumped on my bed with it in her mouth. This chew bone is hard as a rock but it wore her out…which is a good thing!

At first our lil pup ignored it because of it’s hard nature. She usually prefers softer toys or semi hard toys. One rainy day she got bored and started chewing on this and boom! She fell in-love with it! Definitely recommended!

Dogs love them
These are simply the best chewy toy for our dogs we have found on the market. Our dogs normally destroy other toys and these have lasted far longer and our dogs love them they carry it everywhere, to bed, on rides and we have to take it away when we go on walks or they would take it with them on it to

This works!!!! B
This product does not disappoint. I have 2 South African Boerboels and one pit mix rescue who all are aggressive chewers. I have yet to find any toy that holds up as well as this product. Worked so well I ordered one for each dog and will continue to reorder. Most toys within 30 minutes to 1 hour are destroyed some others for aggressive chewers have lasted maybe 24 hours but this has lasted weeks. Worth every penny.

🙂 he loves it!
My bully is very picky so him loving this bone is a huge relief, it keeps him occupied and it lasts a while. He loved the bacon one and the the chicken, will be buying the peanutbutter after hes finished with the one he has now. Great product 👍

Your dog will love these
I love these bones, my dog destroys all bones and toys I give her. This is the only thing I can find that holds up! She loves all the benebones and uses them every day now. This is the best price I have been able to find because I purchase them often due to her constant chewing.

He loves it and can’t destroy it!
48 lb golden doodle loves to chew and seems to work hard at destroying chew-toys, but loves this and it seems to be lasting! He would spend hours on it if we let him. Highly recommended and worth the price!

Excellent Chew Bone!
My MinPin loves these bones and so do I! He can chew on them without me having to hold the bone for him! They last a very long time, are flavored, but do not have an odor! Perfect!

Obssessed
We have an almost 2 year old Golden Retriever & she loves these bones. She’s completely gnawed a whole “arm” off of two, so far. We just ordered her a third bone. They last a long time & the design makes it easy for her to chew.

Dogs LOVE them!!
My dogs are heavy cheers and they love these! Me? Not so much when I step on them at night! In fact that is how I learned when to throw them away. If it feels like a sand spur out it goes ;). It keeps their teeth really clean and keeps them from chewing on furniture legs!

My dogs love these
I’ve bought several of these in a couple different flavors. My dogs love them. They will chew on these for hours. They hold up well and don’t make a mess on the carpet.

My 13 pound doodle is an aggressive chewer and loves this Benebone.
Our dog absolutely loves this Benebone. It is supposed to have a bacon flavor, but I like that there is no odor. We have had the bone about three weeks and it appears that it will last a long time.

Pup loves it!
I got this for my daughter’s 8 month old dachshund and wow, he doesn’t put it down. He loves it. He chews on it constantly but yet the “knobs” are pretty well still intact. Highly recommend.

Long-lasting
The Benebone Wishbone Durable Dog Chew for Agressive Chewers is a great value and my dogs love them. I give them a new one about every three to four months or when the current one is about half gone.

Toughest chew yet!
Our boy Loki is a super aggressive power chewer. Sweetest boy ever, but that jaw strength… Phew! He likes to use his paws to hold things, so the double end sits on the ground letting him easily go to town on the single ended side.Everything that that says “power chewer” he destroys within a day at most. Not this!

Our pups favorite chew toy!
We have a boxer/pit mix. She loves to chew on this. When we dog sit for our loved ones, they all love this chew toy! We have bought a lot of toys. This is the favorite chew toy by far!

Happy dog
The dog likes it! What more can I say.I am bothered that the main ingredient is nylon, because she is not just chewing on it, but eating it (though in small quantities and very slowly: because it’s really durable). But it is what I ordered and it makes her happy.

This is the only thing that lasts.
I have a very destructive pup. Toys that say “for chewers” last 1-2 days. This has lasted a few weeks and still mostly intact.

Amazing!
I bought 3 of these as we’ve 2 GSD’s they had 1 of these from a pet store and always wanted it. So I went looking for 1 for Christmas and found this deal on buying extra. I wish i had bought a case! They are fantastic! Larger than expected and the under 90lbs is actually big for our adult GSD’s but they love them! Big, high quality and USA what’s not to love! Definitely will be buying more!

Unusual shape
Bought for my 6 months old chi that chews a lot and hard. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that even though I bought a small one it is quite big for a chihuahua’s mouth but he manages and has chewed on it with pleasure. So far it’s holding on with just a few nicks. Makes a lot of noise when dropped on the bare floor but a sound I got used to already. Nice bone for chewing and entertaining.
